Compasison Between Teacher, Children, and Parents Reports of Behavioral Symptoms Associated with Disruptive Behaviors

En este estudio piloto se compararon los síntomas conductuales de niños con problemas disruptivos, según fueron informados por los maestros, padres y niños, utilizando el Diagnostic Interview Schedule of Children-Parent version (DISC-P), el Diagnostic Interview Schedule of Children-Youth (DISC-Y) y el Bauermeister School Behavior Inventory (BSBI), versiones en español. Los resultados indicaron que los padres y niños mostraron concordancia moderada en relación a síntomas de un episodio de depresión mayor, síntomas de trastorno de estrés posttraumático y síntomas de ansiedad generalizada. Los maestros mostraron un alto nivel de concordancia con el reporte de niños en términos de síntomas disruptivos, mientras que no hubo acuerdos entre los reportes de los padres y los maestros. Los reportes de los maestros en términos de conductas disruptivas tales como irritabilidad, hostilidad, distractibilidad y poca motivación, mostraron una correlación moderada con los reportes de los niños relacionados a trastornos de conducta y oposicionales. Los resultados pueden sugerir que los padres identifican con más eficiencia los síntomas afectivos que los maestros. Por el otro lado, los maestros parecen identificar de manera más eficiente las conductas disruptivas que los padres.
